SteamPunk Character

STEAM PUNK CHARACTER

For this assignment, I had to design a Steam Punk character.

Here I researched all to do with Steam Punk:

Final Sketch Design:

Face Design:

I started to contour a face by researching contouring and I applied that to my design

Finished Results of Her Face:

I added this robotic mouth because she cannot speak and the only way of speaking is by her facial expressions and emotions.

Here is the Block In design for My Character:

I finally added the cogs and wheels in her neck and her stomach because this is what controls her body and how this robot actually functions.

Final Design:

In conclusion, this assignment went really well for me because I really researched into Steam Punk and decided to give her a human but android robot face. I really liked the colour scheme to, it defiantly represents Steam Punk. I left her hands and feet open and plain because I wanted to direct the persons eye to her stomach and the cog designs. Overall, I am very pleased with my design.

3D Rendering Tank - Paint Over Technique

OUT OF SPACE TANK

In class, we had a pre modelled rendered Tank and we had to use the Skew and Rotate technique to match the curves of the Tank. We also had to add a nice logo!

BEFORE:

I just got a metal texture, I then skewed and rotated the texture to fit the angle of the tank. I then added a nice blue logo to compliment the tank and make it more interesting.

AFTER:

I added a galaxy background to my 3D rendered tank so that it looks like a tank in space. I also added the MONSTER INC text because it complimented the background and the space tank.

In conclusion, to create this design I did not know how to skew a texture onto the tank and after trying it out I now understand that it is a useful technique to make your drawing more realistic and 3D.
